Practice Philosophy & Achievements
Dr.Jianing Yue places particular emphasis on the careful selection between endovascular repair and open graft replacement for abdominal aortic aneurysm, based on anatomy, operative indication, and long-term durability. Dr. Yue has extensive experience in the management of infected abdominal aortic aneurysms, including completion of the first case in China of abdominal aortic reconstruction using the superficial femoral vein system for this condition. For ischemic lower limb diseases, including atherosclerotic occlusive disease and thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger’s disease), he focuses on rational selection among medical therapy, endovascular intervention, and bypass surgery, with strict attention to operative indications. He is experienced in both minimally invasive endovascular treatment and lower extremity bypass surgery, especially in complex cases of severe limb ischemia after multiple failed prior interventions. His practice also includes carotid artery stenting and carotid endarterectomy, the management of complex dialysis vascular access and access-related complications, and minimally invasive treatment of varicose veins. Over the course of his career, Dr. Yue has completed several pioneering and highly specialized procedures in China, including: the country‘s first autologous superficial femoral vein transposition procedure for lower limb dialysis access; the country‘s first radical reconstruction of a severely infected abdominal aortic aneurysm using autologous vein; the country‘s first obturator iliac-femoral bypass for infected wounds involving major arteries; one of the largest clinical series in China of distal arterial bypass procedures for complex severe lower limb ischemia.
